Zelensky said he was ready to discuss his Ukraine peace initiative with Trump

“I’m ready. Of course, if you have a specific peace plan, you can share it with me,” Zelensky said in an interview with Fox News.

He understands that recognizing Crimea and Donbass as part of Russia can stop the conflict.

Previously, Trump has repeatedly stated that after winning the US presidential election in 2024, he will be able to resolve the conflict in Ukraine within 24 hours.

Zelensky invited the former American leader to kyiv for a face-to-face conversation. The Ukrainian leader promised to explain to the Republican that he will not be able to achieve a peaceful agreement overnight. The former US president later rejected this proposal.
