The bodies of a mother and her son were found in Khabarovsk – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

The body of a baby with signs of violent death was found in an apartment in the residential building number 87 on Volochaevskaya Street. Her mother is later found dead in the yard of the house.

“According to the preliminary version, he took his own life,” reports the Investigative Directorate of the Khabarovsk Territory and the Jewish Autonomous Region.

Investigators suggest the woman may have killed the child herself. They will have to check this version.

Municipal prosecutor Yuri Popov and industrial district prosecutor Ilya Bludov also worked at the scene of the incident. The supervisory body monitors the progress of the investigation and also initiated an audit, during which they will evaluate the work of the authorities in the system for preventing abandonment and juvenile delinquency. If necessary, the prosecutor’s office will take the recommended response measures.
