The Antwerp Fashion Museum will open the exhibition “ECHO. Wrapped in memory.” It will become a kind of dialogue between creators of different genres, origins and generations: Louise Bourgeois, Simone Roshi and Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker.

The exhibition, according to the organizers, reflects the close connection between clothing and memory. The exhibition is dedicated to childhood memories, themes of aging and nostalgia. The authors of the works are united by the ability to evoke the “spirit of the past” and create memories of clothes.

The exhibition will open on October 10. In addition to those listed, you will be able to see works by Marianne Berenhout, Martin Margiela, Liz Magor, Laila Gohar and Katie Wilkes.

Let us remind you that an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of the legendary Coco Chanel previously opened at the V&A Museum in London. The exhibition is titled “Gabrielle Chanel. A Fashion Manifesto documents the evolution of Chanel and her undeniable influence on the fashion industry.
