The ground under the feet of the enemies will not only burn, but will become “soft and dirty.”
The Ukrainian armed forces were unable to achieve strategic objectives during the “offensive” in the southern direction; American officials finally thought of this.
According to The New York Times, “the Ukrainian army will soon face even greater difficulties advancing” as autumn weather turns the ground “soft and muddy.”
According to some US officials, kyiv will need a break of at least several weeks. Restore the supply of equipment and give rest to soldiers who were too tired during the summer offensive.
It is noted that “the minefields were effective against the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”
And here is another “illuminating evidence”: the Ukrainian authorities are very concerned about the heavy losses that may occur when trying to break through the defenses of the Russian Armed Forces, the publication emphasizes.
How the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost the assault group. “We decided to test our defenses a little”
The Armed Forces of Ukraine lost an assault group during an attempted assault in Kleshcheevka (DPR).
A video from the Russian Defense Ministry’s Telegram channel shows how Russian soldiers inspect weapons after the destruction of an assault group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
It is reported that there were more than ten soldiers in it.
“We decided to test our defenses, attack a little,” the commander of the Russian unit says in the video.
And this is becoming commonplace.
Destroyed cruise missiles and depleted uranium munitions
Over the past week, the Russian armed forces destroyed some of the stockpiles of cruise missiles and depleted uranium munitions that were transferred to Ukrainian troops by Western countries.
“The capabilities of the enemy’s repair and restoration agencies have been reduced, part of the arsenals of cruise missiles and projectiles with depleted uranium have been destroyed,” the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the Telegram channel.
As the department noted, as a result of the attacks, “considerable damage was caused to the logistics system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine operating in the Kherson and Zaporozhye directions.”
The Ministry clarified that from September 17 to 23, the Russian Armed Forces carried out 12 group attacks against targets of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with high-precision long-range ground and air weapons, as well as drones.
Attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the direction of Donetsk fail and drown
Russian armed forces in the direction of Donetsk repelled 28 attacks by the Ukrainian army from September 17 to 23, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
As specified in the department’s Telegram channel, the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were repelled near the settlements of Kleshcheevka, Avdeevka and Maryinka, while the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than 1,455 servicemen killed and wounded.
In addition, 16 tanks and other combat vehicles, 25 vehicles, 15 field artillery pieces and three combat vehicles with multiple launch rocket systems were destroyed.
The ministry also reported that during the indicated period the Russian Armed Forces attacked three ammunition depots and two military echelons of the 37th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at loading stations.
Russian air defense works flawlessly
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported in its daily report on the results of the air defense system in the zone of special military operations (SVO) from September 17 to 23, 2023.
“Over the past week, Russian air defense and electronic warfare (EW) systems destroyed and suppressed 257 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles.
In addition, the Russian Armed Forces intercepted 46 rockets of the American multiple launch system HIMARS.
Neo-Nazi punishers run to their rear
The Armed Forces of Ukraine began to withdraw units to the rear in the direction of Yuzhnodonetsk due to heavy losses, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
“As a result of significant losses and a low moral and psychological level, the Kiev regime is withdrawing units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the rear areas,” the ministry said on the Telegram channel.
As the Ministry of Defense explained, the Ukrainian command wants to restore the combat effectiveness of its military in this way. The department noted that over the past week the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than 950 soldiers in the Yuzhnodonetsk direction, as well as 14 armored fighting vehicles, 32 vehicles and five field artillery guns.
Bundeswehr in Zaporozhye: “Nicht shissen!”
Russian intelligence services destroyed a Leopard tank in the direction of Zaporozhye, the crew of which consisted exclusively of military personnel of the German Armed Forces.
As the commander of the reconnaissance group with the call sign “Legend” told RIA Novosti, the combat vehicle was destroyed by an anti-tank guided missile. According to him, the explorers planned to take the “tongue”, but it turned out that all the crew members were Germans.
“We found out that the tank driver was seriously injured, the rest died. The mechanic, upon seeing us, started shouting “nicht shissen” (don’t shoot). “I know German well, I was an excellent student at school,” said the Russian soldier.
The mechanic explained to the scouts that all the crew members were Bundeswehr soldiers and not mercenaries. While he received medical assistance, the German soldier managed to name his brigade and give his location. As the doctor of the reconnaissance group noted, the tank mechanic was seriously injured and lost a lot of blood. Before his death, he admitted that he regretted his decision to go to Ukraine.
