Kharitonov knocked out Cardoso and became champion of the MMA Series – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

On Saturday, Kharitonov, 43, fought his first fight in the MMA Series league. The Brazilian Thiago Cardoso opposed him. The fight between them was supposed to take place on August 11, but was canceled.

This time the battle took place in Moscow. The fighters tried to work more in the standing position, and in the second round Kharitonov managed to hit hard and accurately. The opponent was clearly knocked out and the referee, after the Russian managed to land a few more blows, stopped the fight.

Kharitonov became the owner of the belt. This is his 33rd victory with eight losses.
