The storm wind damaged roofs in the Altai, Askiz, Shirinsky districts and in the city of Chernogorsk. There were no injuries, according to the regional directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to the Crisis Management Center, power supply was limited in 46 settlements due to bad weather. According to information until nine in the morning on Monday, there is no electricity in 10 locations in the republic.

In the neighboring regions of Eastern and Western Siberia, large-scale power outages, falling trees and damage to roofs and small building structures due to strong winds were also reported last weekend. Restrictions have been introduced on the roads of several territories for some types of transport. Krasnoyarsk airport could not accommodate several flights.

The hurricane that hit Siberia last weekend is considered the most powerful in half a century. In Kuzbass, three people died due to the widespread disaster.
