Barnaul residents came to the hospital with signs of acute food poisoning. They had all visited the same coffee shop before. Employees of the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor suspended the operation of the establishment for five days to conduct a sanitary and epidemiological investigation. Now employees of the regional research department have also joined the work.

“During the inspection, the investigation shall give a legal assessment of the activities of the management of the establishment in terms of the provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers,” said Olga Chesnokova , representative of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Altai Territory. Based on the results of the inspection, a decision can be made to initiate a criminal case.
