Axios: Israel approved an agreement with Hamas to free hostages – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

According to the agreements, a humanitarian pause will be introduced in the Gaza Strip and the authorities of the Jewish State will release dozens of Palestinians detained in Israeli prisons.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the country’s authorities must make a difficult decision regarding the hostages. “But this is the right decision,” he added.

According to the prime minister, the security forces fully supported the government, based on their professional assessments. Israeli troops will remain safe during the ceasefire and their combat capabilities will improve during these days.

Let us remember that Hamas must release approximately 50 hostages and Israel must free hundreds of Palestinian women and minors.
