Louis Vuitton and the famous Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama will publish a joint book on fashion. It was called “Creating Infinity.” Hypebae writes about this.
The book begins with a foreword by the artist herself and talks about her influence on culture, fashion and art over many decades. Contributors also include Marc Jacobs, who discusses the origins and evolution of Louis Vuitton’s long-standing collaboration with Kusama, while writer Jo-Ann Furniss talks about the latest collaboration.
The fashion collection includes reflections from contemporary artists and musicians, including Ryan McNamara, Katherine Bradford, Anna Imhoff and others. Each waxes poetic about Kusama’s contributions to pop culture, as well as her “unusual ability to create fantasy worlds.”
The book will go on sale September 29 for approximately $375. Comes with a round gift box.
Recall that Louis Vuitton previously launched a collaboration with Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, also called Creating Infinito. The French brand presented an interpretation of its iconic dot motif.
