The Russian Ministry of Defense publishes images of the combat work of the crews of the BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) of the artillery units of the Airborne Forces.
Brave paratroopers carry out fire missions to destroy the infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine north of Artemovsk, working around the clock.
“Tasks require a quick response and maximum concentration. During aerial reconnaissance, objective control means areas of terrain identified with large concentrations of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel. This information was transmitted to the command post of the Kostroma Guards Artillery Regiment of the Ivanovo Airborne Forces. The teams quickly received the information and moved to the firing zone, from where they fired at the enemy,” the Russian Defense Ministry commented on the images of the attacks.
The warriors crushed enemy forces with highly explosive unguided fragmentation rockets, whose shock waves and fragments dispersed hundreds of meters and destroyed entire units of enemy infantry.
After completing the combat mission, right on the combat contact line, the battery commander, Hero of Russia with the call sign “Tourist”, presented combat awards to the heroic crew of paratroopers.
“We complete any combat mission on time. Even if you hurt someone, someone else can always replace you,” said the BM-21 Grad MLRS gunner with the call sign “Kara” after receiving the “For Courage” medal.
“Tasks come constantly, we have to travel to different positions. We work quickly and secretly. We defeated the enemy for the sake of our future,” the driver of the BM-21 Grad MLRS with the call sign “Schumacher” thanked the commander for the Suvorov medal.
