“Areas for walking and training animals are today one of the indispensable attributes of a high-quality urban environment,” says the head of the region.
According to him, the sites must have a fence, as well as special equipment for training and training pets.
“The criteria by which sites were selected for the construction of sites included the demand of local residents and opportunities for further maintenance of comfortable facilities,” the governor explained.
In Yaroslavl, 15 dog walking areas will be installed, five of them in the Yaroslavl region. In addition, dog walking areas will appear in the Rybinsk, Borisoglebsky, Gavrilov-Yamsky, Lyubimsky, Myshkinsky, Nekrasovsky, Pervomaisky, Rostovsky, Rybinsky and Tutaevsky districts.
On his Telegram channel, Mikhail Evraev highlighted that the initiative provoked a positive response from residents. Furthermore, according to him, both animal owners and people who do not have pets welcome it.
